![]() I tried inserting some 16:10 Modes in the Display subsection of the Screen section in nf, but this had no effect - 1920x1200 is autodetected and displayed, and no lesser resolutions are available in nvidia-settings. I can play in a window, but I'd like to use all 17" of screen real estate when I'm gaming. This is great for desktop work, but trying to play a game at this resolution has a serious performance penalty, especially with such an old chipset. My only remaining problem is that the only resolution available is my panel's native resolution, 1920x1200. Now I have full 3d support and no graphics corruption. The nouveau driver was displaying graphics corruption, plus I'd like to do some gaming, so I went ahead and installed the nvidia drivers "the Debian way" with module-assistant as shown here: I've managed to install 32-bit wheezy from the beta installer (dated 8/4/12, I believe) on my Dell M6400 laptop with a Nvidia Quadro 2700M video chipset.
